Obituary for Joseph R. Greene Joseph R. Greene, 82, of Hazlet, NJ , passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Bayshore Health Care Center in Holmdel, NJ. Joseph was born on September 14, 1936 to Frederick and Rita Greene in Brooklyn, NY. Joseph worked as an Order Clerk for the New York Stock Exchange.

On August 30, 1958, he married Carole Coe. Joseph and Carole lived in Brooklyn for 30 years before moving to Hazlet 30 years ago. Joseph was a Communicant of The Church Of St. Clement in Matawan, NJ.

Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War Conflict. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carole Coe Greene; his daughter and son in-law, Gail and Thomas Vetrano of Morganville, NJ; two sons and daughter in-laws, Joseph Jr.and Lorraine Greene of Warner Robins, GA, and James and Kathleen Greene of Plainview, NY; five granddaughters, Jessica, Eva-Marie, Kaitlyn, Jennifer, Andrea; four grandsons, Joseph, III, Michael, Brian, Thomas, Jr.; four great-grandsons, Bo, Benson, Bryce, Joey IV; and five great-granddaughters, Dylan, Brooklyn, Erin, Claire and Grace. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Greene and his mother, Rita Montgomery Greene.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018, 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Hwy. 79, Morganville, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 12, 2018, at 10:00 am at The Church Of St. Clement, Freneau Dr., Matawan, NJ.
