Beloved husband of Annette A. (Wasko) Kumpfmiller; loving father of Loren and Jussie Kumpfmiller; cherished grandfather of Cole Carricato; dear brother of Bobby “Gus” (Maureen) Kumpfmiller; also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Joe proudly served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War, with his best buddy, Jimmy McKenzie.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who loved his camp and the outdoors. Joe was a former employee of Blawnox Steel and Geyer Printing. Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Heal Our Patriots.
