Joseph S. “Frank” Baglia, 88, passed away on September 27, 2018. He was born August 25, 1930 in Akron to the late Michael Baglia and Maria DeLapa. He formerly lived in Cuyahoga Falls, New Franklin and currently resided in City of Green.

Joe worked at Goodyear Aerospace and Lockheed Martin. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church and the Mogadore Moose. He was a starter for many years at Turkeyfoot Golf Course.

He was a loving husband and a role model to his children, who will deeply miss him. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 46 years, June; and granddaughter, Gabriel Lynn Baglia. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Carol), David (Ann), Stephen (Debbie), and Thomas (Betty); daughters, Laurie Burnett and Julie Roberts; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; constant companion, Donna McCarty; and numerous relatives and friends.

Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd. on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church, 4019 Manchester Rd. , Akron on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Joseph.
