Josephine’s Obituary Josephine E. Dietrich, age 96, of Grand Island, NE passed away on Sunday April 28, 2019 at the home of her daughter in Medford, NJ. Born in Grand Island, NE she was a life-long resident. She was a graduate of Grand Island High School in 1940.

She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, the Women’s Circle of Trinity, and a member of the Women’s International Bowling Congress. Josephine enjoyed bowling, cooking, playing cards, reading, puzzles, spending time with her family, and was a tea enthusiast. She was pre-deceased by her husband Adolph in 1986.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara (Antonio) Beltran; 2 granddaughters Caroline Thron, and Lillie Beltran; a great grandson Brayden Thron; 7 nieces Patricia, Dana. Denise, Sharon, Ruth, Susan, and Ruth Ann, and 5 nephews Lee, John, Craig, Bill, and Bob. .

Relatives and friend are invited to attend a viewing on Friday May 3, 2019 from 6-8 PM and again on Saturday May 4, 2019 from 10AM until the time of services at 10:30 at Apfel Funeral Home 1123 West Second, Grand Island, NE. Interment will follow in Grand Island City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to Trinity Methodist Church 511 Elm, Grand Island, NE 68801.
