Josephine’s Obituary Josephine Garagliano Jacobs, 98 of Mystic died early evening Saturday March 16, 2019 at the Mystic Manor in Mystic. She was born January 17, 1921 in New London, the only daughter of eight children, to Rosario Garagliano and Matilda Tasca Garagliano. A graduate of Fitch High School, she worked at Sheffield Tube in New London.

She married Roland C. Jacobs, he preceded her in death. Josephine is survived by 2 grandchildren: Michael Spellman and Karen Danis; 4 great grandchildren: Jordan and Alyssa Spellman, Nick and Owen Danis. Besides her husband Roland, she is preceded in death by her daughter Jean and brothers Thomas, Angelo, Alfred, John, Leo, Frank and Valentino Visitation will begin at 12 Noon Saturday March 23, 2019 until Funeral Service at 1:00PM at the Byles Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames Street in Groton.
