Josephine “Jo” Cosgrove Age 91 of Fox Chapel, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018. Beloved wife of 66 years to Thomas Cosgrove. Loving mother of Sallie B. Cosgrove of Kalamazoo, MI; sister of the late Sallie Brent, Camille Mainwaring (Bill) and Lawrence Brent.

Sister-in-law of Mary Cosgrove McKean (Skip) of Oakmont, J. Casey Cosgrove (Paula) of Lake Bluff, IL and the late William H. Cosgrove, Jr (Cam) and Mark Cosgrove; also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. Jo was born in Pittsburgh to George and Margaret Brent. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Pittsburgh and her masters degree from Duquesne University.

Working initially as a nurse, Jo found here true passion teaching and tutoring children of all ages. Jo’s legacy will be all of her students who meant so much to her. A special thanks to her doctors, Stanley Marks, James Jarvis, James Cosgrove and John Nairn, her friends and her neighbors.

No visitation. Service and Interment private. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Cooper Siegel Library 403 Fox Chapel Rd.
