Josephine Seik, 96, peacefully passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018. She was born on March 27, 1922, in Burgettstown, PA; a daughter of Germanio and Ellen (Tonetti) Farinelli. She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Harold W. Seik, and siblings, Anthony DeRoy, Mary Soubie Brown, Alvira Steinhart, Viola Campbell, and Angeline “Honey” Farinelli.

Josephine loved her family and friends and was kind to everyone she met. She volunteered, for 16 years, at the West Allegheny Food Pantry in Imperial. She loved playing euchre at both the American Legion and VFW.

Heaven has truly gained a beautiful soul. She is survived by, and will be greatly missed by, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, September 16, 2018, from 3-8 p.m. at Nation Funeral Home, Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave.

McDonald, PA 15057. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018, at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery McDonald, PA.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to West Allegheny Food Pantry, 520 Rt. 30, Imperial, PA 15126.
