Joshua A. Smith, 36 EAST LIVERPOOL – Joshua A. Smith, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday evening, May 27, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. He was 36. Born in East Liverpool, May 24, 1983, he was a son of Barbara “Babby” White Smith at home and Richard Smith of East Liverpool.

A lifelong area resident, for 10 years he worked at the East Liverpool City Hospital and was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 2002. Joshua was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers and loved to watch WWF Pro Wrestling. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Benjamin White and his wife, Stephanie, and Coty Brown, all of East Liverpool.

He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Florence Smith, two nieces, Kyia and Lillian White, a nephew, Slayed Brown, two cousins, Perry Rummell Jr. and Lee Ann Rummell Ghrist, his aunt and uncle Jay and Penny Pelley, as well as numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Billy and Lillian White, and his paternal grandfather, Ray Smith. Services will be held at a later date.
