OBITUARY Joshua David Gomez August 26, 2016 – October 2, 2018 Born on August 26, 2016, Joshua David Gomez Jr., he was the son of the late Josue D. Gomez and Catharine Gomez, of Pocono Lake. Joshua loved going on long car rides, playing and dancing with his admiring big sister. He enjoyed defying every and all requests of his incredible therapists and nursing team, all of whom he loved very much.

Little Joshua adored watching football and rugby with his daddy and being doted on by his mommy. In his short two years, he touched many lives and gave the gift of hope to all of his family members. Joshua had been preceded in death by his grandfather Jose Antonio Franco Jr. Joshua had been survived by: His father Josue, mother Catharine and sister Lilly Gomez of Pocono Lake.

His grandparents Vivian Rivera Franco of East Stroudsburg, Cesar David Gomez of Effort, Lilian Gomez of Effort. His Great Grandparents Carmen Rivera of New York, Jose Antonio Franco Sr. and Carmen Franco of East Stroudsburg, and Melba Chavez of Jersey City. His Uncle Anthony, Aunt Crystal and their children his cousins Lucas and Joslynne Franco of Effort.

His Uncle Joseph Franco of Syracuse, New York. His Uncle Cesar Daniel Gomez and Aunt Paige Wells of Effort. A Celebration of Joshua’s Life will be held on Wednesday October 10, 2018 from 5p-8p at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc. 27 Washington St East Stroudsburg.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions may be made in honor of Joshua to a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc. 27 Washington St East Stroudsburg PA 18301.
