Age 23, of Mt. Lebanon, on Monday June 4, 2018. Born in Kenya, he and his family moved to the United States in 2004.

Beloved son of James & Phelgona; devoted and caring older brother of Samuel; grandson of the late Zabulon and Hellen Ombiri and Isaac & Phoebe Randiki; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joshua was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and attended Waynesburg University.

He loved sports, soccer, smash, and he ran cross country at Waynesburg. A member of the Mt. Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church, he was an ordained Deacon and loved by all generations.

Joshua loved the Lord Jesus Christ and served Him as a children’s ministry intern for two summers and was looking forward to working with the youth as an intern this summer. He was a gifted teacher, counselor and had a smile that would light up a room. Family and friends will be received at the Mt.

Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church 255 Washington Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15216 on Sunday from 2:00 until time of the funeral service at 5:00 PM. Friends are invited to meet at the church on Monday at 9:30 AM.

We will leave at 10:00 for a processional to Mt. Lebanon Cemetery for the committal service. In lieu of flowers, contributions to MLEPC (address above), noting Ombiri Memorial Fund in the memo line, will be greatly appreciated.
