Joset “Josie” Lauree Jones, age 29, died Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her home in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born May 15, 1989 in Henderson, Nevada to Randall Leavitt and Jane Herron Jones. She grew up in Overton where she graduated from Moapa Valley High School in 2007.

She attended college in West Virginia, then earned her Associates degree at Mesa Community College in Arizona. She excelled in soccer in both high school and college. After college her work as a professional model took her around the world.

Josie was her daddy’s sweetheart, and she enjoyed riding motorcycles with her dad and brothers. Josie will be remembered for her sweet, kind hearted and giving nature. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her mother, Jane Jones; three brothers: Jeremiah, Joshua, and Jacob; one niece, Mia and one nephew, Ryder all of Overton. Funeral services were held Monday, September 17, 2018 at Moapa Valley Mortuary. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guestbook at www.
