Obituary of Joslyn Willis Joslyn “Joy” I. Willis, age 62, of Macks Creek, Missouri passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. Joy was born March 30, 1956 in Marshfield, Missouri to Lynn and Lucille (Peak) Steed. She was raised and spent most of her young life in Kansas.

Joy was saved and baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Wichita, Kansas, West Wing She worked outside the home for many years. Once her grandchildren were born, Joy dedicated most of her time to being with them. Joy is survived by her husband Jerry Willis, of the home; her son Jimmy Willis and wife Tanya; grandchildren Jimmy, Shelby and Jesse Willis all of Macks Creek, Missouri; step-father Levi Downey; brothers David Steed and wife Janice of Newton, Kansas and Levi Downey and wife Denise, of Urbana, Missouri; sisters Jackie Kvapil and husband Benny of Forney, Texas and Irene Keeling and husband Randy of Kingsport, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lynn Steed; her mother Lucille Downey; her sister, Georgia Clark; and her brother Lynn Steed. Joy was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Hedges Scott Funeral Home Macks Creek, Missouri.

The family will welcome friends for visitation from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Macks Creek, Missouri.
