Joy Dian Gilger, age 72 of Boulder City, NV, passed away on June 2, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on September 10, 1945 in Las Vegas , Nevada to Kittie and Warren Kivett. Joy married Roy D. Gilger on November 4, 1970 in Boulder City, Nevada.

Joy was an avid sports fan and athlete thru out life. Some of her favorite sports she played were softball, basketball, volleyball, and bowling and she loved to knit and fish. Joy competed in one of the first reality sport shows filmed and played in Boulder City called “Anything Goes”.

Joy is preceded in death by her parents and husband Roy. She is survived by two daughters Shellee (Robert) Sateren and Cindy (Christopher) Homer; five grandchildren Jacob and Joie Sateren and Kailyn, Bella and Preson Homer; two sisters Susan Schepers and Janie Tibbs. A Celebration of Life (Party!
