OBITUARY Joyce Ann Marceaux July 4, 1940 – January 12, 2019 Joyce Ann Marceaux, 78, a native and resident of Belle River, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sibling and friend. She was the rock of her family.

Joyce made sure everyone in the family was always taken care of. She enjoyed watching the Young and Restless, making homemade funny movies, Bingo, eating and scratch offs. Her favorite saying was “yes indeed”.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three daughters, Sherill Scribner, Beverly Blanchard and Sabrina Blanchard; seven grandchildren Chad Scribner, Shanon Scribner, Shalena Scribner, Crystal Blanchard, Brandy Newstrom, Dwayne Giroir and Kaylin “Kaygee” Giroir; one step grandchild, Aleira Landry; nine great grandchildren, Christian Scribner, Bryce Scribner, Shadah Gaspard, Riley Landry, Alexis Blanchard, Randy Breaux, Larry Breaux, Alaina Breaux and Haiden Newstrom; one great-great grandchild, Kayson Blanchard; two brothers, Wilbert “Kenneth” (Brenda) and Lynwood (Cindy) Aucoin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Maxcime and Nelia Aucoin; husband, Dalton Joseph Marceaux and two siblings, Gilbert “Neg” Aucoin and Theresa Aucoin Blanchard. Pallbearers will be: Dwayne Giroir, Chad Scribner, Jessie Landry, Christian Scribner, Wayne Blanchard and Randy Breaux.

Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5pm until 10pm and will resume on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 8am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
