OBITUARY Joyce Ann Smith January 27, 1934 – October 21, 2018 Joyce Ann Calhoun Smith of New Braunfels passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the age of 84. She was born in Victoria, Texas on January 27, 1934 to Regin and Mabel Calhoun (West). Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Regin and Mabel Calhoun; husband Clayton Smith; daughter, Janyne Smith Wiley and sister, Gloria Strange.

She is survived by her daughter, Nina Eastman, son Charlie Smith and wife Donna; and son Brian Smith; grandchildren include, Sheila Hanson (Billy); Shawn Smith, Jeff Smith (Mariah), Shannon Eggers (Chad), Reagin Shockley (Doc), Zack Smith (Nita), Jacey Toney (Matt), 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 2 beloved dogs, Derby and Sammy and cat Jazz, and numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce volunteered with Hope Hospice for many years. She was also a member of Circle of Friends at the Church of Christ.

Joyce will always be remembered for her laughter and being one of a kind. She was always the life of the party and loved to have fun with her family and friends. Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 1 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, followed by burial at Comal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Hospice. FAMILY Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Regin and Mabel Calhoun; husband Clayton Smith; daughter, Janyne Smith Wiley and sister, Gloria Strange.
