Joyce Anna Laisure, age 72, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday morning, November 27, 2018 at her home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The daughter of Russell & Berta (White) Emmons, she was born on December 31, 1945 in Sheridan. On March 24, 1973, in Greenville, she married Dennis H. Laisure II and together they enjoyed 45 years of marriage and raised five children.

Joyce also worked outside the home at Belding Fruit Storage and enjoyed shopping and yard sales. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sandra Nash; and two brothers, John Emmons and Jack Emmons. Surviving are her husband, Dennis Laisure II of Greenville; their children, Terry Laisure of Greenville, Denise Laisure & Mark Herroon of Greenville, Dennis Laisure III & Jennifer Allen of Gowen, Michelle Laisure & Ray Darling of Greenville, and Misty Laisure & David Adams of Greenville; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother-in-law, John Laisure of Greenville; a sister-in-law, Edith Laisure of Greenville; several nieces and nephews including four special nieces, Dawn Nash, Cindy Perry, Heather Devereaux, Carrie Carmichael; two special friends, Jodi Wittenbach of Six Lakes and LaDonna Adams of Greenville; and many other dear relatives and friends.

Visitation with the family is from 12-1 p.m. on Friday at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rev. Ken Harger, retired pastor of Shiloh Community Church, will officiate and burial will take place in the spring at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
