Obituary for Joyce Gilliland Mrs. Joyce Gilliland age 84 of Centre passed away Monday December 24th at her residence. Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday December 28th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Hosey and Rev.

Charles Woodfin officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 PM Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Zack Hosey, Stevie Gilliland, Kevin Gilliland, Dylan Owens, Gregory Kirby and Chris Crowe.

Survivors include husband, James Gilliland of Centre; son, Jim (Hazel) Gilliland of Boaz; grandchildren, Zachary Scott (Gabby) Hosey, Jenna Leigh Owens and Stephanie Ann Gilliland, Anthony (Marcia) Rhodes, Sonya (Jeremy) Brimer and Tonya Elliott; 10 Great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Hosey; sister, Mary Ruth Cheatam. Mrs. Gilliland was a native of Marshall County and the daughter of the late Joseph Bruce and Myrtie Leigh Alewine and was of the Baptist Faith.
