Hudock, 83, passed away peacefully May 5, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born April 11, 1936 in Holyoke to the late Alexander and Josephine (Kuzniar) Sledzieski, Joyce grew up in Holyoke and attended Holyoke High School. She then attended Bryant University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree.

She went on to work in many different offices before taking the position of office manager with Dr. Alfred Hutt. Joyce also held the position of treasurer of the Chicopee Sportsmans Club for many years. Joyce will be remembered for her kind heart and love for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Thomas Hudock; two sons, Thomas Hudock Jr. and wife Mary of South Hadley and Joseph Hudock of South Hadley; grandchildren Becky McGillveary and husband Shawn of East Longmeadow, Thomas Hudock and wife Lynn of Ware, Joseph Hudock of Boston and Anna Hudock of South Hadley; two great grandchildren , Jameson and Charlotte, many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Joyce was predeceased by her brother Alex Sledzieski and wife Marilyn. The funeral will be Thursday at 9:00 am from Curran-O’Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley followed by Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10:00 am.

Burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to Boy’s Town.
