Mrs. Joyce Kay (Easterling) English, born on May 29, 1940 in Oakland, California, to the late Lucy Lenora (Nola) Butler and the late Glen Lincoln Easterling, passed away at age 78 on March 2, 2019 in Chino Valley, Arizona. She graduated from Sacramento State University, and earned graduate degrees from both Colorado State University and University of La Verne. Her career field was Child Protective Services in the Government industry.

Joyce was married to Gerald English. She is survived by her husband, sons David M. Blewett and Thomas S. Blewett; daughter, Sara B. McNamara and nine grandchildren. She also leaves behind her greatly loved dogs, Cooper and Zoe.

Joyce enjoyed sewing dresses and costumes, making holiday decorations, canning, knitting and antique doll collecting. Those who wish may donate in Joyce’s name to Chino Valley Senior Center and Rescue A Golden of Arizona. Friends and family members may attend the celebration of life on Monday, March 11 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Chino Valley Senior Center, 1021 West Butterfield Road, Chino Valley, Arizona, 86323.
