Stuhr, age 86, of Camano Island passed away in the early hours of Wednesday January 30th 2019’ at her home with family, after a very graceful acceptance of the diagnoses of cancer. Joyce was born Dec 13, 1932. in Los Angeles California.

She graduated From Edmonds High school in Edmonds WA. Where she met and married the love of her life, Keith Stuhr in 1950. They shared a beautiful 56 years together before his passing in 2006’.

Joyce was a wonderful, dedicated wife alongside her beloved Keith, and an incredible mother, mother-in-law, grandma and great grandma. Her family blessed with her unconditional love for each, in their own personal unique relationship with her. She enjoyed her every home along life’s journey, but found special joy and wonderful friendships while living in Camaloch Golf Community for many years as well as the recent past at Vintage.

Her hobbies so many-golfing, day trips, camping, sewing, knitting, water color painting as well as chalk on canvas and intricate Holiday painting. She leaves behind her family that loves her beyond words-Daughters Val Crosby and Son-in-law Gil, Diane Fletcher and Rick, Grandchildren Jeff Crosby (Laurie), Julie Collins (Brian), Marianne Miller (Paul), Leanne Davis (Adam) and 8 Great Grandchildren; Cole, Curtis, Casey, Lexi, Amanda, Alex, Abbie and Grace. Services for Joyce will be held at 1:30, Monday February 4, 2019’ at Gilbertson funeral Home in Stanwood WA.

With reception to follow. Any donations in Joyce’s name, please be made to the wonderful ‘angels’ of Providence Hospice, Everett Wa.
