Joyce Arlene Shoenau (McCullough), formerly of Midlothian, IL, died peacefully in Port Charlotte on January 10, 2019 at the age of 83. Joyce was born on March 20, 1935 in Chicago, IL; she married Thomas in 1956. After moving to Midlothian, she worked for Midlothian Currency Exchange and, alongside her husband, became the owner of MnM Hobby Stores in Midlothian and Joliet, IL.

Joyce retired to Florida in 1992, where she enjoyed meeting new friends and playing Bingo. Joyce will be greatly missed by her children, Robert (Carla) and William (Cary); sibling, James McCullough; grandchildren, Kristoffer Ryan (Lauren), Taylor Marie Richardson (Donny); and great-granddaughter, Kayley Spensley Shoenau. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, and parents, Raymond and Marion McCullough.

Cremation arrangements have been made by Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services of Punta Gorda. Private interment of ashes will be at Skyline Memorial, Monee, IL where there will be a living tree memorial for Joyce and Tom. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Signature Healthcare and Tidewell Hospice for their care and compassion.
