Husband and wife, Juan Benjamin Lopez Marariegos, 58, and Irma Orfilia Castellanos Laparra, 52, residents of Parksley, VA, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at their home. Juan was born in San Jose, El Rodeo, San Marcos, Guatemala on February 16, 1961 to Benjamin Rosendo Lopez Perez and Iginia Mazariegos Lopez. He is survived by eight children Angelica Lopez and husband David, Betty Lopez and husband Elio, Juan Lopez and wife Isabel, Brenda Lopez and husband Leodan, Yari Lopez and husband Pedro, Iris Lopez and husband Wilber, Zuremi Lopez, and Brayan Lopez; four sisters, Eluvia Lopez and husband Mario, Julia Lopez and husband Roman, Marleni Lopez and husband Agusto, and Elvi Lopez and husband Eraldo; nine grandchildren, Axel, Alexandra and husband Wesley, Andrea and husband Deysi, Jose and wife Leodan, Natali and husband Luis, Edward and wife Gadiel, Josue, Chris, and Marianey; and many other extended family members.

Irma was born June 23, 1966 in Cuilco, Huehuetenango, Guatemala to Enrique Castellanos and Francisca Elsa Laparra. She is survived by eight children, Roliber Herrera and wife Veronica, Eber Herrera and wife Gloria, Yoana Herrera and husband Pablo, Yansy Herrera, Yari Lopez and husband Pedro, Iris Lopez and husband Wilber, Zuremi Lopez, and Brayan Lopez; ten sisters, Aramita Miguel and husband Jacobo, Maura Castellanos and husband Natalio, Oty Miguel, Meli Castellanos and husband Oscar, Juani Miguel, Dali Castellanos and husband Edgar, Geyli Miguel, Migolalia Castellanos and husband Anselmo, Yorleni Castellanos and husband Guillermo, and Rosi Miguel; two brothers, Irain Miguel and Ubelsi Castellanos; and many other extended family members. A vigil service will be held at the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Centro Cristiano Casa de Dios, in Nelsonia, VA, on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Interment will take place in El Rodeo, San Marcos, Guatemala.
