Obituary for Juan Carlos Avalos Gomez JUAN CARLOS AVALOS GOMEZ, 18, of Christiansburg passed away October 24, 2018. He worked at his family’s resteraunt, El Bronco. Carlos was an active member with Riner Rescue Squad.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Avalos Gomez. Carlos is survived by his mother and father, Juan Avalos and Bertha Gomez; sisters, Maria Avalos, Bertha Avalos and Lupita Avalos; grandparents, José de Jesus Avalos Mora, Emma Romo Rojas, Juan Manuel Gomez Olmos, and Bacilisa Gonzalez Castro; nieces, Sophia Avalos, MariaJose Avalos and Bella Smith; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home.
