Obituary for Juanita Draughon Juanita Walker Draughon, age 89, of Cedar Hill, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at White Haven Assisted Living in Adams. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield. Burial will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Craig Martin, Eric Martin, Glen Draughon, Chris Ledbetter, Lonnie Martin and Jerry McCreary serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 5-7pm and again on Friday from 1pm until the hour of service at 2pm. Mrs. Draughon was born December 18, 1928 in Springfield to the late Willard and Allie Mae Brown Walker. She worked as an Office Manager for many years and was a member of South Haven Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Draughon is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Draughon and her sisters, Dorothy Rawls and Lula Mae Dodson. She is survived by her son, Barry Draughon of Cedar Hill; daughter, Mary Ellen (Donnie) Martin of Cedar Hill; brother, Jesse (Freida) Walker of Germany; grandchildren, Craig Martin, Eric Martin, Glen Draughon and Chris Ledbetter; and 4 great-grandchildren. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Senior Center.
