Obituary for Juanita (Jenny) Martinez Ms. Juanita Martinez, “Jenny,” loving mother of seven, grandmother of nine, and great grandmother of ten, left us to be with God on January 1st, peacefully in her sleep. We will miss our vibrant mother, her kindness, her incredible wit and intelligence, but most of all, we will miss her unrelenting love and devotion to her children and her grandchildren. Mom loved to read, watch her Spanish soap operas, play her Bingo, music and dance, debate any topic at any time, and tell amazing stories of her life and experiences that would leave those of us who had the pleasure of hearing them, breathless.

We already miss you our dear mother, and will miss you forever, only finding solace that you are in peace, looking over us, hand in hand with the Lord, Our Father. Be sad, yes, for the passing of our mother but only for a short while, then smile broadly to the heavens as she would want, fill your heart with peace, joy, and loving kindness, and rejoice in the celebration of her wonderful life.
