Juanita Oglesby Holley went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2018. She was born in Waxahachie to Earl and Ruby Oglesby on October 15, 1946. She was a graduate of Waxahachie High School.

Music was very important to her family. They sang on KBEC and KAND radio stations as well as at many churches in Ellis and Navarro Counties. She enjoyed singing old gospel music and hymns.

She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Ruby Oglesby; brothers, Richard Oglesby, George Oglesby; and sister, Lela Mae Alford. She is survived by her children Brian Holley and wife Sabrina, Steven Holley and wife Jennifer, and daughter Angela Holley; her brother Jimmy Oglesby and wife Wanda, and sister Betty Brown. Juanita is also survived by her partner of 19 years, Leisa Young and her children Monica and husband Darcy Haskins and Shae Young; brother Randy Stamps and wife Candice.

Her 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. And her loving pets Doobie, Sara, and Caesar. She had a laugh and sense of humor that brightened the room.

She will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be held at South Park Assembly of God in Waxahachie at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 15, 2018 with Pastor John Phillips officiating.
