Obituary of Juanita Anderson Juanita Vernez Anderson, 89, of LaPorte passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018. She was born August 20, 1929 in Honey Island, Texas to the late Joe Rodgers and Bernice Flowers Rodgers. She is survived by her sons, Roger Anderson of Nacogdoches, Johnny Anderson of Jasper; daughters, Wonda Stone of LaPorte, Kathy Anderson of Dickinson; grandsons, William Stone of LaPorte, Lance Anderson of Nashville, TN, and Dusty Anderson of Hudson; Billie Fay Towman of Seattle, WA, Mondee Stone of Dickinson, Sunnie Winter Winkle of Mont Belvieu, Crissy Anderson Love of Anahuac, Brandie Winter Cazares of Atascocita; sister, Darlene Hollbrook of Colmesneil; and numerous other family members.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Anderson; granddaughter, Jennifer Anderson Brower. Serving as pallbearers will be Willie Stone, Laik Winkle, Jake Winkle, James Winkle, Lance Anderson, Troy Raskin, and Andrew Cazares. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 6-8PM at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 2PM at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Stephen McBride officiating. Burial will be at Jordan Cemetery in Honey Island, Texas.
