NEW SPRINGFIELD- Judi (Judith Schmidt) Bell, 67, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019. Judi was born April 16, 1952 to the late James and Helen (Groner) Schmidt. She was a lifelong member of Mt.

Olivet United Church of Christ where she volunteered with various activities and committees. Judi enjoyed Ohio State football and watching her favorite NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon, race. She loved pets, collecting owls and making almost any kind of craft.

She created beautiful pieces that were entered into the Canfield Fair yearly, where she won numerous ribbons. Judi is survived by her daughter Liz (Josh) Hebb, her longtime companion Paul Cunning, her sister Pam (Bruce) Mills and brothers David Schmidt and Thomas Schmidt Sr., and several nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Judi was preceded in death by her parents and her good friend Carol Hebb.

Funeral service will be at 11:30AM on Friday, May 31 at Mt. Olivet UCC. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:30AM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Rd. , Youngstown, Ohio 44514 or to Mt. Olivet UCC, 410 S. Range Rd.
