Judith Ann Becker of Carmichael CA, age 78, passed away on 6 January 2019. She was born on February 4th, 1940 in Athens, Ohio to Dr. Edward H Sprague and Mrs. Grace MacDonald Sprague. Judith grew up in Marietta Ohio and graduated in the class of 1958 from Marietta High School.

In 1962 she graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Political Science and was a member of the Chi Omega fraternity. Judith married Donald T. Becker in 1962 and dedicated her life to many family service organizations as a proud Air Force wife. She was a member of the Officers’ Wives’ Club, she volunteered many hours with the Cub Scouts as a Den mother, as well as with Del Campo Little League and various other school organizations.

She also managed The House of Photographic Arts Studio for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Edward H. Sprague IV, and her loving husband of 55 years Donald. She was the best mother to her two sons LTG Bradley Becker (Sherri) and Robert Becker (Cathy), and the most adored Nana to her five grandchildren, Derek Becker (Maranda), Quentin Becker, Andrew Becker, Brittany Esparza Valles (Xavier), Courtney Becker and one great granddaughter Rozlyn Valles.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:00pm at Sierra View Chapel, 6201 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael CA. Burial will be at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery alongside her beloved Donald. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite charity.
