Judith E. Kirchenbauer, 84, of Greenwood, passed away on June 18, 2018. She was born on January 28, 1934 in Baltimore, MD to the late Audra and Nancy Stone. She was a member of Suburban Baptist Church for 42 years.

Her employment was secretary at Suburban Baptist Church, Suburban Christian School and Indiana Baptist College. She was also employed at Wheeler Mission, Indianapolis Glove Company, Mr. Button and Caldron Brothers. She also enjoyed the Ladies Fellowship Ministry, Bus Ministry, Master Club and going Soul Winning. When dad passed away, mom went to Scotland as a missionary. Her passion was the mission field whether in her neighborhood or across the ocean!

Her hobbies included crocheting afghans, she loved sewing wedding and bridesmaids dresses, working with flowers and crafting. Mom was a fighter and taught us her great work ethic! She was a strong faithed prayer worrier!

Her attitude could be spelled WIFLION (Whether I feel like it or not! ) When you asked her how she was, she always said “I’m choosing to be good”! Her favorite phrase was “I am standing up”!

She loved music, reading and making memories with the family! ! She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Kirchenbauer, grandsons, Robert David Colpitts and Joshua N. Littleton.

Survivors include Children: Linda L. Colpitts (David M.), Howard E. Kirchenbauer (Brenda K.), Forrest C. Kirchenbauer (Vickie A.) Lisa A. Littleton (Martin J.), Laurel S. Burtner (Dale W.). Grandchildren, Carey M. Colpitts (Kelly), Clay Kirchenbauer (Crystal), Steven Burtner, Saundra Kirchenbauer, Jennifer Horsley, Kyle Kirchenbauer (Katie), Leslie Colpitts, Amanda Goar (Zach), Holly Getty (Jimmie), Ashley Johanson (Johann), Kelsey Kirchenbauer, Emily Dowell (Jessup), and 7 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Suburban Baptist Church, 722 E County Line Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00am with additional visitation from 10am until time of service. She will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope in Crisis Ministry, Dr. Nell Collins, Colonial Hills Baptist Church.
