Judith Elaine Rosser, age 78 of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018, surrounded by family at her home. She was born Friday, March 8, 1940 in Carlisle, the daughter of the late Chalmers F. and Helen M. (Myers) Heberlig. Judith graduated from Shippensburg Area High School.

Afterwards, she proudly served from 1958 – 1960 in the U.S. Air Force. She retired after 28 years of being a physical therapist from Chambersburg Hospital. Judith was a member of Prince Street United… Read More » Brethren Church in Shippensburg.

In her spare time, Judith liked to read, swim, work in her yard and had an interest in politics. She is survived by her two loving sons, Gerald Conyers, Jr. and his wife, Terri of Shippensburg and Bruce Conyers of Shippensburg; two sisters, Lois Morrison of Shippensburg and Laurie Rauber and her husband John, of Shippensburg; brother, Dale Heberlig of Plymouth, NC and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald R. Conyers; second husband, William R. Rosser and brother, Ronald Heberlig.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 10 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Prince St. UB Church, 20 N. Prince St., Shippensburg, with Reverend Michael Wentz officiating. Judith’s family would like to thank Heartland Hospice especially Deb, Tami and Tracy for their genuine concern and tentative care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judith’s name to Heartland Hospice, 417 Phoenix Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201 or Prince St. UB Church, 20 N. Prince Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
