Judith F. Hamstra, age 95 of DeMotte, Indiana passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village in DeMotte. Judith was born in South Holland, Illinois on March 13, 1924 to John and Myrtle (Stegenga) Olthoff both deceased. She graduated from Thornton TWP High School in Harvey, IL, Class of 1942.

After Business College, Judith worked as a comptometer operator for Aetna Insurance Co downtown Chicago in the Wrigley building for 3 years. Judith married Jacob Hamstra on December 28, 1945 in South Holland, IL. He preceded her in death on November 17, 1995.

She lived the rest of her life in DeMotte. She was a member of First Reformed Church in DeMotte where she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of Willing Workers. Judith is survived by her loving children, Douglas J. Hamstra of Englewood, FL and Melody (Leo) Ditchcreek of Grand Rapids, MI and a sister Fay Kramer of Schererville, IN.
