Judith “Judi” Ann Johnson Babb, 73, of Spartanburg, SC died Friday, March 1, 2019 at Pacifica Senior Living Skylyn. Born May 9, 1945 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Leland Anderson and Bertie May Nix Johnson and the widow of Johnny Lee Babb. Judi was retired from Sears & Roebuck, Co. after 25 years of service.

She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Jerry Babb of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughter, Jessica Rollins; grandsons: Matthew Ogle, Jarrett Babb, Jordan Babb; great-granddaughter, Poppy Ogle; and great-grandson, Princeton Ogle, all of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Frances Smith of GA and Nancy Babb of Spartanburg, SC; and a brother, James Johnson of Pickens, SC. She was also predeceased by a son, Johnny “P-Nut” Lee Babb, Jr., and siblings, Geraldine Nelson, Joyce Sherbert, Bobby Johnson, and Steven Johnson.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 PM Monday, March 4, 2019 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM in Whitney Community Cemetery, 847 Iron Ore Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303, conducted by Norman Band. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
