She was the wife of the late Allen L. Higgins. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Emile “Freddy” and Madeline (Warburton) Shadeck.

Mrs. Higgins had worked and was a well known cashier at Stop and Shop. She enjoyed the slots and was a member of the “777 Club” and the “Wampum Club”. She is survived by her children, Kimberly A. Hill, NPD (Ret.

) and husband Wil Hill, RISP, (Ret. ), Kerrie Mazur, EGPD and Jason A. Higgins; grandchildren, Alexa, Linden, Morgan, Hayden, Jamisen, Maysen and Carsen; and siblings, Barbara Hopp, Ronald Shadeck and Alan Shadeck. She was the sister of the late Frederick Shadeck.

Funeral Service, Saturday, January 19th at 10:00am at Harbor Church, 263 Waites Corner Rd. , West Kingston. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
