Judy Cortez Puryear passed away on December 8, 2018. Judy was born on November 8, 1944 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Fred and Pauline Ortiz; she passed away surrounded by her devoted family. Judy was a long-time resident of Weatherford, Texas and a retired business owner.

The outpouring of compassion, and memories from those that knew and loved her is a testament to her character. Judy was preceded in death on September 5, 1971 by her husband, Eddie Cortez. She is survived by husband, Don Puryear; daughter, Lori Cortez Crepps (Jim); grandchildren, Jade Moen (Matt), and Dylan Crepps; son, Mark Cortez (Rosie) granddaughters, Sophie and Mia; her brothers, sisters, many nieces, nephews and beloved family members.
