Obituary for Mrs. Judy Faye Cox Judy Faye Moore Cox, 67, of Trinity, died Tuesday, July 3 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Trinity, NC.

A native of Surry Co., NC, Mrs. Cox was born September 30, 1950, the daughter of the late Lewis and Betsy Mae Moore. She had attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

She was a good cook, loved gardening, and working in the yard. She loved her children and grandchildren and always looked forward to seeing them. Judy was always concerned about others instead of herself.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her son, William Calvin Davis, and her siblings, Frances Moore, Junior Moore, James Moore, David Moore and Betty Moore-Davis. She is survived by her husband, Barry Cox, of the home; sons, Ricky Lee Davis and wife, Tammy, Barry Allen Cox, Jr., and wife, Jenny; brother, Billy Ray Moore; grandchildren, Mandy, Shawn, Cody, Faith, Kelsey, Erin, Abigail, Courtney, Tylor, Isaiah; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Cody, Allen, Rhiley, Neil, Aiden, Skyler, and many more great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Asheboro.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 2354 Finch Farm Rd, Trinity, NC 27370. Previous Events Visitation , JUL 7.
