It is with great sadness that the family of Judy Gayle Smith announces her passing after an extended illness, on Tuesday March 12, 2019, at the age of 72. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 29 years, Jeffery Allen Smith; Children, Angela Willis Boyd (husband Ernie) and Kirby “Buddy” Gray Willis Jr; stepson, Jason Allen Smith; stepdaughter Jodie Ann Smith; sisters Peggy Jones (husband Jimmy); Beverly Duncan (husband Arnold). Judy will also be fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Austin Willis, Avery Willis, Ansley Willis, and Jase Smith.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Needham and Edna Stroud, beloved husband and father of her children, Curby Willis, and two brothers, Haywood Stroud and Thomas Cade. A celebration of life in memory of Judy will be held on Saturday March 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Bridgeway Church in Beaufort, officiated by Chaplain Patrick Whaley. Afterwards, a fellowship with family and friends will follow.
