OBITUARY ‘Judy’ Julia Popham October 12, 1945 – January 16, 2019 ‘Judy’ Julia Popham, age 73, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Wednesday January 16, 2019. Judy was born October 12, 1945 to Ann and Francis ‘Frank’ Blasko. Judy married the love of her life, Jerry Popham on April 4, 1964.

They started a family with 3 children, to whom Judy was very devoted to. Judy was known for her out-going nature and caring personality. Her family was everything to her and she was an exceptional wife, mother and grandmother.

She was an amazing cook and enjoyed baking. Judy also had a green thumb. One of her hobbies included creating beautiful flower arrangements.

She also enjoyed traveling and especially loved going to the beach, where she would enjoy the serenity and tranquility of sand between her toes, sunsets and dolphin watching. Judy was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Kennesaw, Georgia and enjoyed going to Bible Study. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; Ann and Frank Blasko; and brother Mike.

Judy leaves to cherish in her memory; husband, Jerry R. Popham; daughters; Sherry Bishop (Mark), Lisa Spencer (Richard), Lori Burton (Russ), grandsons; James Spencer (Danielle) and Jake Burton. The Popham family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A funeral service to honor Judy Popham will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Christ Church, 1210 Wooten Lake Road, Kennesaw, Georgia.

Following services, Judy will then go to her final resting place at Kennesaw City Cemetery. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www. winkenhoferpineridgefuneralhome.com for the Popham family.
