Judy’s Obituary Judith Mae Spencer, age 70 of Elmore passed away Saturday February 2, 2019 at the Mayo Health Systems-Mankato. A memorial service will be held Friday February 8, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Elmore with Rev. Russ Jacobsen officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date. Online condolences can be left at www.

pattonfh.com Judy was born August 14, 1948 to Gerald and Doris (Hauskins) Cooley in St. Peter, MN. On January 2, 1968 she married the love of her life, Doug Spencer. Together they raised three children while running her in home beauty shop.

She was also a Sunday school teacher at the Elmore Methodist Church for many years, where she made a lasting impression on all the children. She loved to spend time with her family at the lake, fishing and rock hunting. She will always be remembered for being a very generous and funny person who was always willing to lend an ear and give advice when asked.

Judy is survived by her endearing husband of 51 years, Doug, her sons; Stacey and Brandon (Jennifer), daughter; Heather (Eric) Schultze, grandchildren; Hunter and Morgan, her brother David (Susie) Cooley, sister; Cheryl (Jim) Becker, sister-in-law; Sandy Cooley as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald & Doris, brothers; Gary & Dennis, sister Kathy (Dale) Spencer, infant sons Brett & Chad, nephews Todd & Trent Becker, grandson Zachary Spencer and her special friend Dorothy Richardson.
