Julia I. “Judy” Ayle, 87 of DuBois, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois. Born August 4, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Della (Cope) Rishell. On March 8, 1952 she married her husband of 66 years Dudley E. “Dutch” Ayle.
He survives. Judy was very active as both a volunteer and employee in the Girl Scout organization during the years she lived in Michigan and Illinois. While in Michigan at a banquet held in her honor she was presented with the Thanks Badge, the highest honor in Girl Scouting.
Judy loved to shop for collectibles, cooking, baking and her African violets. She loved the Rocky Mountains and enjoyed many vacations traveling to that area of the country. Judy is survived by a daughter Valerie Ryals of DuBois, a granddaughter Heather Murray and her husband Jason of DuBois, a great-granddaughter Stephanie Bowser of DuBois and two great-great grandchildren Lakota and Serenity.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter Melody Glass in “2013”. Memorials may be sent to the Gateway Humane Society of Falls Creek. Online condolences can be made at www.
