She was born on April 7, 1961 to Andrew LaVell and Barbara Jeanne Merrill Veteto in Eugene, Oregon. She married her sweetheart Wayne Alva Hardinger on November 12, 1982 in South Jordan, Utah.

Wayne preceded her in death on May 24, 2014 in Lehi, Utah. They are the parents of five children. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Willow Park Stake Center, 1998 West 900 North, Lehi, Utah.

A viewing will be held on Monday morning starting at 9:00 to 10:30 AM prior to the service. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
