OBITUARY Julia W. Rojas “Ama” December 3, 1925 – January 24, 2019 Julia W. Rojas “Ama”, age 93, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. She was born on December 3, 1925 in San Antonio, Texas to Julio Witt and Nicolasa Frausto. Julia worked for over 20 years with CCISD as a bus driver.

She was always helping with elections as a ballot counter and was a great supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project and the Driscoll Children’s Foundation. She was a lifetime member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She will always be remembered as a tough and loving woman and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Adan M. Rojas; sons, Andy Rojas and Luis Rojas and a daughter, Dora Rojas. Survivors include her children, Reinaldo (Rosa) Rojas, Jose (Felipa) Rojas, Tommy (Lamar) Rojas, Dolores (Guadalupe) Sanchez, Paul Rojas, Manuel Rojas, Adan Rojas and Maxie Rojas all of Corpus Christi, Texas; Beatrice (Rene) Cano of Ft. Pierce, FL.

, Susana (Albert) Najera Jr. of Raymondville, TX and Rosa Maria Villarreal of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Dolores (Paul) Dunn of San Antonio, TX; 41 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren and her four-legged companion “Werro” also survive her. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. FAMILY Julio Witt and Nicolasa Frausto, Parents Adan M. Rojas, Husband Andy Rojas, Son Luis Rojas, Son Dora Rojas, Daughter Reinaldo (Rosa) Rojas, Son Jose (Felipa) Rojas, Son Tommy (Lamar) Rojas, Son Dolores (Guadalupe) Sanchez, Daughter Paul Rojas, Son Manuel Rojas, Son Adan Rojas, Son Maxie Rojas, Daughter Beatrice (Rene) Cano, Daughter Susana (Albert) Najera Jr., Daughter Rosa Maria Villarreal, Daughter Dolores (Paul) Dunn, Sister Julia also leaves behind her 41 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren and her four-legged companion “Werro” also survive her.
