She is also survived by sisters Jean Starnes and Joanne (Paul) Brady and sisters-in-law Rebecca (Brian) Smith and Carla Hallewell and aunt Molly A. Stratton.

Julie was a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews and she will be greatly missed! She graduated from Vincennes Lincoln High School in 1984 and she attended classes at Vincennes University. Julie was a pharmacy technician for over twenty-five years and this is where she met Mason.

She was called in to cover a shift for a sick coworker. The new supervisor pointed out to her that she was 20 minutes late, and she fired back that she had to drive all the way from Noblesville to cover that shift. They were married a year later and the rest, as they say, is history.

What Julie enjoyed most in life was watching Kristina ride her horse “Stella” and she was an avid dog lover. Jade and Jett brought her so much comfort. Throughout her life, Julie possessed a quiet strength and she was a fighter, one of her Pharmacy co-workers described her as a “Tough Cookie”.

Yes, she was! A fighter to the end. The fight is now done, she is at peace, and we will need Julie’s quiet strength to carry us through.

Julie was born a loving daughter, grew up a beautiful sister, became a devoted wife, and her greatest achievement was being a Mother. Visitation services will be held Thursday January 10th from 4 to 8 PM at G.H. Herrmann Funeral Homes, 1605 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 11th at 11:30 AM with burial immediately following.
