June A. Renstrom, 89, of Elbow Lake, Minnesota, died Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Evansville Care Center. June Arlene Renstrom was born on June 1, 1929, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Marie (Hegstad) Michealson. June married Jerome Renstrom on June 18, 1950 and they resided on their farm near Elbow Lake for sixty-eight years.

June enjoyed gardening and was an avid seamstress and crafter. She was a member of the neighborhood homemakers group. She enjoyed her flowers in the spring and her garden produce in the fall.

June spent many hours entertaining her grandchildren who share great memories. She also enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. June was a long time member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Elbow Lake.

She served on the Lydia Circle and was the caretaker for the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery for many years. She is survived by her husband, Jerome; daughters, Deborah Emmel and Tammie (Kevin) Pattison; and son, Tim (Charlotte) Renstrom; her grandchildren, Chad (Jennifer) Renstrom, Jennifer (Robert) Drewett, Sarah (Kristian) Tvedten, Melissa (Jason) Sims, Tony (Amber) Ruud, Adam (Joleesa) Ruud; fifteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Lila Sabbe; and many nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and one sister.

The family wishes memorials to be sent to the American Cancer Society. Funeral Service: 2:30 PM, Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Bethlehem-West Elbow Lutheran Church in Elbow Lake with visitation one hour prior to the service. Clergy: Rev.
