June’s Obituary June McCarthy Bentley passed away March 14, 2019 at her home in Sebring, Florida. She was born June 12, 1930 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of William and Edith Newman McCarthy. She attended Clinton High School graduating class of ’48.

On February 20, 1960 she married Don Bentley in New Hartford. They lived in New Hartford for several years where she was employed at the Yahnundasis Golf Club as an office manager. She and Don moved to Florida in the early 70’s where she was employed by the Boca Teeca Club in Boca Raton, Florida for 25 years as the office manager.

She and Don retired to Sebring, Florida in 2004, and traveled many places, including her favorite casinos throughout the south and Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles. She is survived by her husband Don; brothers, Earl (Betty) of New Hartford, Richard (Cindy) of Rome, William of Miami, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
