June G. Cook, age 95, of Mentor passed away on January 20, 2019. She was born in Mullens, WV on September 17, 1923, to the late Napoleon and Bertie Blankenship. June is survived by her daughter-in-law, Charlotte Cook, her granddaughter Vicki (Dennis) Hager, her great-grandchildren Zak, Courtney (Dan) Dimatteo, and Danielle Hager, great-great grandchildren Giannessa and Gabrielle, nephew Dwayne Bennett, who faithfully visited June weekly at the nursing home.

She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 73 years, Edwin Cook, her son Roger Cook and siblings, Louis Blankenship and Margaret Bennett. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from noon to 1pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd. , Eastlake.
