Mesquite, Nevada – June May Dufrane, 85, passed away October 24, 2018 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born June 3 1933, in Polson, Montana, to Archie D. Martin and Helen Frances Brown. She met and married her soulmate Harold Noel Dufrane, March 23, 1952 in Anchorage, Alaska.

They moved to Missoula, Montana, where they had Keith, Jeff, Larry and Marcia. They lived in Montana for several years until they moved to Washington, where Paul was born. In 1975, they moved back to Montana where they established the Optical House in Bozeman, and were active in the community.

In 1994 they retired to Mesquite, and enjoyed life. Harold preceded her in death in November 2006. June lived out the remainder of her life in Mesquite, where she enjoyed the Catholic Church, her good friends, visiting family, and crafting.

She is survived by children Keith and Melissa Dufrane, Jeff and Min Dufrane, Larry Dufrane, Marcia and Brent Petersen, Paul and Loubna Dufrane. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 25 great grand children. She is preceded in death by her sister Shirley Martin and brother James Martin.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A viewing will be held November 2, 2018 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road, Mesquite, NV 89027. Funeral services will held November 3, 2018 at 11:45 A.M. at La Virgin de Guadalupe church, 401 Canyon Crest Blvd, Mesquite, NV 89027.

A celebration of life will follow the service. Interment will be held November 5, 2018 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 501 Adams Blvd. , Boulder City, NV at 12:00 PM.
