Karen’s Obituary Karen A. (Moore) George, 59, of Buffalo Township, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh after being ill the past 4 years. She was born November 27, 1959 in Rochester, NY. She lived most of her life in Buffalo Twp.

where she was a Supervisor for Personal Care homes, Rose Brook, Buffalo Twp. and Outlook Point in Saxonburg for a number of years. Karen was of the Catholic faith and a graduate of Freeport High School.

She enjoyed spending time in her swimming pool. Survivors include her husband of 40 years Jay A. George, daughters Mindy S. (Brian) Beacom, Frazer Twp. and Kristen L. (Matthew Pugh) George, Freeport and grandchildren Shawn Beacom, Gage Beacom, Madison McPeak, Michael Beacom and Mackenzie Pugh.

Visitation Saturday 2-4 PM and 6PM until the time of service at 7 PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Rev. Robert B. Walker, officiating. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to Lung Force, 810 River Ave, #140, Pgh, PA 15212.
