Karen’s Obituary Karen Ann Leach (Haeufle), 79, Born 08/08/1939 and passed away suddenly on 05/22/2019. Beloved wife of the late Jerry “Gene” Leach. Devoted mother of Kelly (Goettelman), Bryan (Sandy), Derek (Sue), Traci (Greg), Jerri (Chuck) and Mark (LaDonna).

Loving Grandmother of Erica (Chris) Jeremy (Teri), Jeanna (Rich), Shayne (Kelly), Mindi (Ray), Levi, Jazmin, Jacob, Jerrica, Jordan, Elani, Elexa, Emma and Great-Grandmother of Jocelynn, Summer, Jerrilyn, Tobias, Salem, Raelyn, Jackson, Naomi, Rayna, Spencer. Karen is the daughter of the late Edward Wm and Dorothy (Madden) Haeufle, Daughter in law of the late Orville and Myrtle (Price) Leach and the sibling of the late Jacqueline (Ronald) Varelmann and Dianne (James) Cox. Karen married Gene, the love of her life on 06/06/1959 and raised their six children after his untimely passing in 1982.

She led a full life filled with experiencing everything she could with her large family and dear friends Wilbur and Phyllis. Karen’s passions included travel, concerts, fireworks, reds games, family gatherings and celebrating all her grandchildren’s achievements, sports, school events, zoo trips and so much more. Karen had a passion for life and will always be remembered for her fierce love and devotion to her family.

She was an intelligent, beautiful, strong willed, no-nonsense woman who would do anything for those she loved and ask nothing in return. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Service celebrating Karen’s Life will be announced at a later date.
