Karen Sue Kidd age 75 of Dunkirk, died at Blanchard Valley Hospital on Thursday February 7, 2019. She was born August 26, 1942 to the late Clyde and Betty (Kreen) Coppes. She married Daniel J. Kidd Sr. on May 6, 1961 and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2002.
She is survived by their children Debby Sue (David Sr.) Reigle, Arlington, James (Rebecca) Kidd, Wapakoneta, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, a brother Larry (Carolyn) Coppes, McComb, twin sister Carol Ann Decker, Findlay and sister Linda Howard, Forest. She is preceded in death by her sons Richard J. Kidd and Daniel J. Kidd Jr. Karen enjoyed playing Bingo and socializing at the Dunkirk Community Center. Mrs. Kidd was a member of the Dunkirk Assembly of God.
She also collected dolls, antiques and Native American artifacts. Visitation will be held Monday February 11, 2019 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Clark Shields Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am at the funeral home following visitation with Pastor Dennis Beverly officiating.
